Sausage pasta


Serves 4

Ready in 15 Minutes


  • 300g penne pasta
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 deseeded and sliced large red pepper
  • 6 sausages
  • 12 cherry tomatoes
  • Handful of fresh basil
  • Crusty bread to serve


  1. Cook the penne in a pan of boiling water for 12 minutes. Meanwhile, fry the onion in the oil until soft.
  2. Add the pepper and cook for a further 2 minutes. Slice the sausages and add to the pan with the cherry tomatoes. Cook for 4 minutes
