Main Ingredient: Plums
● 1½ pounds Gala apples, cored, peeled, and cubed
● 1½ pounds black plums, quartered, pit removed, and skin left on
● 2 tablespoons brown sugar, or more to taste
● 2 cups water
In a medium saucepan, bring the apples, plums, sugar and water to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 40 to 45 minutes, or until desired consistency. Serve warm or let cool. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
